The material is graphite CIP material (isotropic graphite) with over 99.9% carbon! It is a small diameter round bar cut from artificial graphite blocks.
We handle "Graphite Round Bars (TTRB)" that are cut from artificial graphite blocks, chamfered, and finished into a round shape. Since graphite (carbon) rarely comes in standard sizes like metals, we cut it from artificial graphite blocks with a black skin and finish it to the specified shape and dimensions. Dimension tolerance specifications are also available as an option.
